Fire-fighting water and contaminated water storage

VB-EPDM membranes for fire-fighting, sprinkler and contaminated water basins.

Indoor basins for use as sprinkler water storage, fire-fighting water storage and even contaminated water storage, can be made watertight with VB-EPDM membranes. These are fully prefabricated three-dimensionally in the specific sizes required.
This avoids the need for seam connections to be made on site. The risk of errors and as a consequence the corresponding risk of leaks are kept to a minimum.

VB-EPDM membranes membranes play a crucial role in making these basins watertight.
The fact that the basins are often built indoor means their impermeability to water is of even greater importance.
Before the VB-EPDM membranes are put in place, we recommend applying a protective layer beneath them.
The VB-EPDM membranes are attached to the walls with the aid of blind fasteners. The fasteners are distributed over the walls depending on their height.

VB-EPDM membranes consist of rubber sheeting of the highest European quality. They are created by the bespoke vulcanisation of strips of EPDM sheet and come in a selection of thicknesses. This results in seamless and homogenous VB-EPDM membranes that precisely meet the standards set. Each membrane comes with a corresponding certificate and installation instructions. VB-EPDM rubber has a very favourable environmental impact factor and it is ecologically sound. The environmental effects during its whole life cycle are extremely low.
